]]> Oregon Recovers is an inclusive statewide coalition comprised of people in recovery–and their friends and family—uniting to transform Oregon healthcare to ensure world-class prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for Oregonians suffering from the disease of addiction.
 
The Walk for Recovery is Oregon Recovers largest annual fundraiser. Each of the six Walks are designed to raise money, build community power, and promote pride in recovery. 
Our goal is to raise $100,000 to continue the fight to end Oregon’s addiction crisis! This year, a Walk for Recovery will be organized in Bend, Portland, Rogue Valley, Klamath Falls, Lane County and Eastern Oregon! 
Each Walk follows a two mile route past treatment providers, recovery houses, detox centers and MAT clinics. This is also a family friendly event, bring your children and pets. Please have leashes for the furry friends and please pick up after them.

Oregon’s annual Pan African Festival celebrates the presence, resilience, strength, and influence of Pan Africans (Africans, Caribbean and African Americans) in Oregon.

We believe the festival is a cultural vehicle to galvanize, mobilize and empower Diaspora Africans in Oregon.

It is a springboard to community capacity building, to increase understanding within and between communities and to stimulate dialogue and increase awareness and sensitivity. This vision is captured in our theme of: Experience The Culture.

Beyond the day of the festival itself, we also engage in a variety of community development dialogues and events year-round with local community-based organizations to help inspire Diaspora African finding lasting solutions for sustainable future.
